Thighs that would crack watermelons

As mentioned in previous posts, De Montfort University (DMU) offers many sports activities. You can join sports teams, get gym memberships, or attend DMU Active sessions. The sessions are free and let you have fun with a diverse group of people with no commitments. I opted to pay for the gym membership, which means I can attend various classes, one of which is spinning.
For the uneducated, the Cambridge Dictionary describes spinning as a form of exercise that is done inside a building on a machine like a bicycle that you ride very fast without moving forward. I would like to emphasize the ride-very-fast part. Not only you have to ride very fast, but you also have to change positions, speed, sitting, hand location, and more. All done while a very pumped instructor, with no struggles at all, sings, motivates you, or bosses you around (sometimes managed at the same time).
My friend and I (viz., the two fakely smiling girls in the photo, because no one´s smile is genuine after spinning class) quickly realised we had chosen a slow death. The lecture may have lasted only 45 minutes, but for someone who realised after 2 minutes of riding a bike that they do not have the required physique, it was a long time.
The whole time, I stared at our instructor, who stayed positive during the lecture and did all the deadly choreographies while talking. And I thought these thighs must be able to crack watermelons! At the moment, mine wouldn´t be able to crack a biscuit.
Love,
Book and Tea Girl
